OUR BIG DAY

In a lifetime, individuals sometimes cross paths once or twice and each of these meetings offers a new perspective. The perspective on another individual changes with time, and sometimes you’re just lucky enough to open your eyes and realize that the person you’re looking at is someone you could love. Our story evolved the same way. From friends at work, to reuniting again outside of work to becoming friends again, and finally to giving each other a chance to be special people for each other. This process took many years, but it was well worth the wait. When we finally decided to formalize our courtship both of us regretted not doing it so much sooner. Since then, we’ve travelled together, shared all of our most important family moments, and are excited to continue our life together in marriage.

The story of Xochilt and Eduardo has two distinct sides. On one side has been the most patient, joyous, optimistic, kind soul you could ever meet. The person on this side has been willing to give all of their life experiences, introducing the other to travel and adventure, outstanding food and drink, and just plain old fun. The person on the other side has resisted and dragged along, usually taking the easy route of saying “no” vs. the challenge of saying “yes”. This person saw the negative side of every thing, the other the positive. This person barely broke a smile while the other one laughed out loud. One would wonder why one person would patiently tolerate the other for so long. The answer is simple, there is LOVE. Love persevered all of these challenges and two people became one union. Now every cloud we see together has a ray of sunshine, every challenge is met with a team effort, and being together is everything we ever look forward to.
