The Wedding Website of Ximena Aliaguilla and Greg Ahern
Welcome Dearest Out of Towners! Below you'll find everything you need to know about coming to and staying in Boston for our wedding weekend. That includes the three room blocks we've reserved for you (and their booking links) as well as suggestions for flying in, driving in, and getting around! (For weather tips, see the FAQ page.)

Hotel

Omni Parker House

60 School Street
Boston, MA 02108
 (617) 227-8600

We've reserved a room block for you, our guests, at the amazing and historic Omni Parker House (which is also the location of our wedding reception and farewell brunch). This block is available starting Wednesday, October 27 up to a Sunday, October 31 check out. From the hotel it's only a 1 minute walk to our ceremony at the Old South Meeting House. Fun fact: The Omni Parker House is the oldest running hotel in America! A special rate has been locked in for our guests. The cutoff date for this rate is September 29. Be sure to book by using the "View" link below!

Hotel

Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall

54-68 Devonshire Street
Boston, MA 02109
 (617) 720-1234

We've arranged a secondary room block at the Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall for the evenings of Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29. This is an urban, boutique Hyatt hotel and also a quick 2 minute walk to our ceremony at the Old South Meeting House. We have secured a special rate at a lower price point than the Parker House. The cutoff date for the special rate is October 8. NOTE: If you select additional nights to the 28th or 29th you will get an error. Additional nights should be booked separately via the hotel. Be sure to book by using the "View" link below!

Flight

MIA to BOS (Thurs Oct. 28 - Sun Oct 31)

If you're coming from Miami and planning on turning this into a long weekend (hello, fall foliage, American history, and a day trip to Salem for Halloween!) you may consider flying in on Thursday and returning Sunday... or later! Check out our "Things To Do" page for some inspiration, and search for flights in the link below!

Flight

MIA to BOS (Fri October 29 - Sun October 31)

A shorter weekend option for our Miami friends and family. The flight is ~3 hours so if you plan on arriving on Friday make sure to fly out with enough time Friday morning to settle in comfortably and get fancy in time for our 6 PM ceremony :)

Flight

NYC to BOS (Fri October 29 - Sun October 31)

Like a true New Yorker I'm sure you've probably got this and need no help from us but here's a link to some flights from LGA, JFK, and EWR anyway.

Train

NYC to BOS (Acela Express)

Trés European! Amtrak's fantastic Acela Express train takes you from New York Penn Station to Boston's South Station in 3.5 hours... and in style! It leaves every hour from Penn Station and gets you back. Getting from South Station to the Omni Parker House is a 5 min drive or 10 minute walk.

Travel Note

Taxi, Uber, Lyft

On the off chance that you don't already have a ride share app like Lyft or Uber downloaded to your phone, we recommend doing so, particularly for getting to and from the airport. They are also helpful for getting around town if you prefer not to walk or take the T (subway). If you prefer to use a taxi cab make sure to have cash on hand as some may not accept credit cards. A taxi to or from the Logan airport to downtown Boston costs $25-30 on average.

Travel Note

Driving in on a Friday Afternoon

If Massachusetts or New Hampshire are home you don't need us to tell you what traffic can be like in Boston on a Friday afternoon but... here we are telling you anyway. Anyone planning on driving in to Boston from a bit further away, consider yourself advised and do give yourself time to account for potential jams and delays.

House Or Rental

Airbnb?

We love Airbnb, especially for a group, but this doesn't seem to be a particularly great option for the downtown Boston area. Nightly rates are higher than our room blocks and pretty limited. You can take a look at the link below.
