FAQs

Question

How far is the venue from Macon, GA?

Answer

The venue is approximately 32 miles (34 minutes) from Downtown Macon.

Question

How far is the venue from Atlanta, GA?

Answer

The venue is approximately 107 miles (1 hour and 45 minutes) from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Question

How far is the venue from Columbia, SC?

Answer

The venue is approximately 230 miles (3 hours and 40 minutes) from downtown Columbia, SC.

Question

Which airport should I fly into for the ceremony?

Answer

The best option is Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. Another option is the Macon Airport through Contour Airlines.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Not at this moment. Group rates weren't competitive, and we want everyone to pick the option that suits them best. See our travel page for nearby stays and book as early as possible.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The theme of the wedding is a southern garden party. The attire is similar to nice brunch attire. You can find examples on the gallery page. Garden party attire is whimsical, dressy, and outdoor-ready—somewhere between semi-formal and cocktail. Think breezy silhouettes, pastel hues, and light fabrics instead of dark or heavy ones. Comfort matters, too: women can opt for flowy dresses and breathable fabrics with practical shoes, while men look sharp in lightweight suits in soft colors with a crisp white shirt.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately children are not invited. As much as we love kids, our budget won’t allow us to include them all. For that reason, only Whitney’s nieces and nephew (in the wedding party) will be present.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone we love, but our budget means we can only include our carefully chosen guest list.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding venue?

Answer

We’re so grateful to celebrate with you! Since traveling back to Nebraska with large gifts would be tricky, we kindly ask that you bring no physical gifts beyond a card. If you’d like to bless us further, we’d love for you to consider contributing to one of the funds on our registry page.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

It would mean so much to us if you’d consider contributing to one of the funds on our registry page.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, February 1, 2026

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same location, and onsite parking is available.

Question

What should I bring to the venue with me?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held outdoors. We recommend bringing a few essentials to ensure your comfort: a handheld fan, sunscreen, bug spray, and any personal allergy medication you might need.

Question

Will the wedding and reception be held in the same location?

Answer

Yes, the wedding and reception will be held in the same location.
