Sydney met Natalie freshman year at Kenyon College through the Kenyon swim team. After bonding over their similar sense of humor and swimming experiences, they decided to live together sophomore, junior and senior year. Natalie currently lives in San Francisco and works at a pharmaceutical company developing next generation oncology drugs.
Scout Wilkins

Sydney met Scout freshman year at Kenyon College through the Kenyon swim team where they suffered through many morning distance practices together. Through their love of books and movies they cemented their friendship! They lived together senior of college. Scout now lives in Los Angeles and works as a Product Specialist at FactSet, software company.
Kendall Vanderhoof

Sydney met Kendall freshmen year at Kenyon College through the Kenyon swim team. They became close friends junior year and lived together senior year. Kendall now lives in Los Angeles and works as a sustainability analyst at Niagara Bottling. She always knows how to support her friends and bring joy wherever she goes!
Amelia Strittmatter

Sydney met Amelia, Xavier's sister, when she first started dating Xavier. Amelia was only 7 years old. Amelia is now a junior in high school at The Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart where she is involved in Model United Nations and the varsity swim team.
Anastasia Strittmatter

Ana is the youngest of Xavier's six siblings. Sydney met Ana when she first started dating Xavier. Ana was only 4 years old at the time! Ana is now 13 years old. Ana is on the club swim team and a local high school volleyball team (despite being in seventh grade!).
Michael Ing
Best Man
Michael met Xavier freshman year of college at the University of Pittsburgh when they were randomly assigned as roommates. Their friendship blossomed over a shared love of board games and sports. They remained roommates throughout the rest of college. Michael has both a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science from Pitt. He currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
Blaise Strittmatter

Blaise is the third eldest of the four Strittmatter brothers. He is 21 years old and is currently travelling throughout Europe and Western Asia.
Owen Matteson
Groomsman
Xavier met Owen, Sydney's 2nd eldest brother, when Owen was 11 years old. Owen swam on the Star Swimming club team with Xavier's brothers before moving to Florida and swimming for the Sarasota Tsunami club team. Owen is currently a junior at MIT studying aeronautical engineering.
Jude Strittmatter
Groomsman
Jude is the youngest of the four Strittmatter brothers. He is currently a freshman at North Carolina State University and is majoring in electrical engineering. He is on the club swim team and the ultimate frisbee team.
Cyrus Matteson
Groomsman
Xavier met Cyrus, Sydney's youngest sibling, when Cyrus was only 7 years old. Cyrus is currently a sophomore at Sarasota High School in Florida. With his endless energy, Cyrus is always doing something fun like swimming for his club team, skimboarding on the beach, jetskiing in the ocean, or serving ice cream at Kilwins.
Maximilian Kolbe Strittmatter

Kolbe is the second eldest of the four Strittmatter brothers. Kolbe graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021 and still resides in Columbus, OH. He is a software engineer and currently holds the coveted title of biggest board game nerd in the family.
Carter Matteson
Usher
Carter is Sydney's eldest brother. Carter is currently a first year student at Palmer College of chiropractic in Florida. When he's not studying, Carter is getting tan and surfing the waves on Daytona Beach.
Nora Strittmatter
Flower Girl
Nora is Xavier's cousin. She is six years old and is in Kindergarten at the School of St. Mary in Lake Forest, Illinois. Her dad is Xavier's dad's youngest brother Peter. Xavier was an usher at Peter and Mary Kate's wedding in 2016.
Clare Strittmatter

Clare is four years old and is Nora's younger sister. She is in Junior Kindergarten at the School of St. Mary in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Rodney Matteson
Officiant
Sydney's Uncle Rodney has kindly agreed to officiate the wedding. Rodney is Sydney's Dad's only brother and has been serving as an Elder in his Church for 10 years. He lives in Deltona, Florida where he's raised four kids with his wife Debbie.
