Gathering Place
Gathering Place is such a fun spot to check out while you’re in town. It’s a huge park right along the river with pretty walking paths, places to hang out, and really great playgrounds if you’ve got kids with you. It’s an easy place to spend an hour or an afternoon just relaxing and exploring.
Oklahoma Aquarium
If you have some free time while you’re in town, especially if you’re traveling with kids—the Oklahoma Aquarium is a fun place to visit. They have lots of sea life, hands-on exhibits, and even a tunnel surrounded by sharks. It’s an easy, family-friendly outing and just a quick drive from Tulsa.
Philbrook Museum of Art
Philbrook is a beautiful art museum set inside a historic Italian-style villa, and the gardens alone are worth the visit. It’s a calm, pretty spot to wander around, check out the galleries, or just enjoy the outdoor scenery. A great option if you want something relaxing and a little different to do while you’re in town.
