Our first date lasted a lot longer than we planned. What was supposed to be a quick coffee date, turned into long conversations over a bottle of wine, and at some point I decided it wasn't that big of a deal if I was late to my 9am class the next day. We've been together every day since!

After just three short months of dating, we took a really insane leap of faith when Mike asked me to move into his home in South Jordan. Over the past two and a half years, we've built a home and a life together while hustling through school and 80 hour work weeks. Luckily we still have just enough time between the craziness for snuggles and Sunday naps with our cats, Rosie and Asha.

Mike originally had plans to propose on Valentines day... But was so excited when he picked up the ring, he spontaneously decided to pop the question on Sunday night while we were sitting on the couch watching a Vietnam War documentary. Neither of us expected to get engaged while wearing pajamas and eating leftovers for dinner, but I couldn't imagine a more perfect way to begin our engagement.
