Dan and Sammi met in 7th grade at Ransom Everglades Middle School. Although they shared many memories through their middle school and high school years this is not where their love story started. On February 20, 2021, Dan and Sammi reconnected at their mutual friend Michael Lloret's wedding. Michael aka Mike also went to Ransom Everglades with Dan and Sammi. Dan had been behind the scenes plotting his move on Sammi which included calling Jocelyn (Michael’s now wife) and insisting she change her seating chart so that Dan could sit next to Sammi at the wedding. Jocelyn finally caved into Dan's requests (He can be very persistent). Sammi came into the wedding blindly and completely unaware of the romantic gestures and master plan Dan had orchestrated. While at the wedding, Dan pulled Sammi onto the dance floor and then later into the photo-booth where he went in for their first kiss. We have the print to prove it! Since that kiss their love story grew starting with a long-distance relationship as Dan was living in Denver, CO and Sammi was living in Boca Raton, FL. Dan would visit from Colorado and Sammi would fly out to Denver whenever they got the chance. Finally, exactly one year later in February 2022 Dan drove from Colorado to Miami to pick up Sammi and her Frenchie, Buddha, for an official move to Denver to take the next step in their relationship. Fast forward through 2 survived winters, countless fun trips, 17 weddings, and so many amazing memories in between, on 07/21/2023 Dan proposed to Sammi asking her to be his wife. Sammi said YES and Dan’s friend, Chris Miller, captured the moment at the beautiful Lake Isabelle in Colorado. We have grown up together and now we will grow old together. We are so excited to celebrate our love and make it official on March 30, 2024, surrounded by all the people who mean so much to us and have been a part of our journey.
