FAQs

Question

Should I wait for my invitation before RSVPing?

Answer

No, there's no need to wait for your formal invitation to come in the mail. As this is a destination wedding, it is helpful for us to know as soon as possible who to expect to attend! All of the information we need to know is included on our website RSVP form, so please feel free to RSVP whenever you know how you'll respond.

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding venue is Diamond Cross Ranch in Moran, Wyoming. This is approximately 40 minutes from downtown Jackson Hole. We have wedding blocks in Jackson Hole, but guests may stay wherever they prefer! We plan to have group transportation to and from the wedding venue with pickup locations at our wedding block hotels. Keep an eye out for additional information on transportation.

Question

Are children invited to attend?

Answer

Yes! We love all of the children our friends and family have brought into our lives! We would love to have them join on our big day if your family wants to bring them along for the fun!

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be inside the barn at Diamond Cross. The average temperatures in Jackson in August are a high of 80 degrees and a low of 39 degrees. It's typically a dry climate so 80 degrees is nice compared to a humid Indiana 80!

Question

What do you mean by 'cocktail attire'?

Answer

Cocktail attire means no jeans (despite this being at a ranch!). Beyond that, it's fairly flexible. Tuxes and formal gowns are not required at all! Suits and summery/springy dresses would be typical for cocktail attire. There is no requirement on wearing suit jackets due to the outdoor setting.

Question

Will Mackey and Pete be there?

Answer

Sadly, no, our beloved pups will not be at the wedding. It will be easier for us to celebrate with everyone without having to worry about them! They'll certainly be with us in spirit.
