To us, our wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends in a beautiful, memorable place. The Grand Tetons are one of the most beautiful places in the US, and is fairly accessible with a large airport right in Jackson. We understand that attending a destination wedding requires time and money, and that some of our invitees may not be able to make it for various reasons. We appreciate and love each and every one of you, whether you are able to attend or not.

For those of you that know Melissa well, you probably know it would be hard to surprise her. And yet, Joe was able to pull off a beautiful and thoughtful proposal that was a complete surprise. Joe worked with a local family-owned restaurant in Indianapolis to set up a table with flowers and a card that Melissa was taken to while Joe pretended to run to the bathroom. Once she (finally) realized the card was, in fact, for her and opened it, her close friend Emily captured the moment she read the card while Joe came out and got on one knee. Obviously, she said yes!
