Maid of Honor
Dana is Gabby's little sister! She always saw her as her baby even though she grew taller than her at some point during her high school years. Her family still calls her "bebe." Dana has always been independent and strong, which has led her down her own path from the moment she was little. Gabby likes to remind her about how tiny she used to be and how she used to hug her around her waist looking up at her. Yes, Gabby does get sentimental about this every year on her birthday when she keeps getting older for some reason. Ever since they were little they both knew they would be each other's maid of honor one day. They enjoy binging shows together, talking about getting all the puppies, and eating Hot Cheetos in all of its versions (IYKYK).
Maid of Honor
Michelle and Gabby met junior year in high school but they didn't become friends right away. Why you may ask. Michelle didn't like her! Dun dun dun! Just kidding! She didn't like Gabby's friend so they didn't talk as much right away. But as fate would have it they lived across from each other and became friends in no time. They remained friends through college and definitely grew up together. Needless to say, Michelle has been there for Gabby through all the good and the bad. She even went two-stepping with her after getting off work late when she doesn't even love to dance! FOR YEARS!! She is now married to her brother and Gabby couldn't be happier she's part of her family!
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Gabby met in their two-stepping adventures through Sarah's now fiancé Stephen! Their friendship truly solidified one warm Texas evening when everybody bailed on going dancing. But not them two! They knew some dancehalls and whiskey on the rocks was waiting for them and they were not about to let them hanging. It was a fun night for the books! Through the years Gabby could always count on Sarah for great advice and they are always just a phone call away no matter where life takes them!
Bridesmaid
Christine was working at Bill Miller's BBQ when a fresh-out-of-high-school Gabby found her first job there! They were a part of the same group of friends who started to throw small birthday celebrations (or anything-day celebrations) at her house. She also has been a part of some of Gabby's big moments, such as her 21st birthday/her first drinks at a bar. Enough said. No matter where they are in life and how much it gets in the way, every single time they see/talk to each other again it's like no time has passed!
Best Man
Gursimran (GURH-SIM-RAN) and Wyatt met in Drama class in middle school (many legs were broken and standing ovations where common place). As self-identified drama queens they bonded instantly. Their friendship withstood Wyatt's one year hiatus at Saint Mary's and later departure to San Antonio, with a year living at Gursimran family home nestled in between. They've only had a small amount of hiccups through the years (most of them due to someone continuously losing on FIFA, *cough cough* Sim). This was a MAJOR point of contention for many years, but luckily their friendship persevered once Wyatt became unanimously and unequivocally recognized as superior. You can find them not not making inappropriate jokes and debating whether Wyatt's Corolla can beat Sim's Mustang in a race.
Groomsman
Phil is Wyatt's big brother. No really...he does CrossFit. He's always been an influential figure in his life in everything from music and sports, to hand me down clothes. Phil was a true example of independence and strength from the moment he left home as a high school sophomore and moved to the East Coast. His career took him to different places in California and even Atlanta and he never failed to give it his all. For this and much more Wyatt has always looked up to him. He took comfort in knowing he could do the same because his big brother had already done it. Wyatt will always remember playing (dominating) in NHL 99 on their Nintendo 64. He looks forward to spending more time together drinking whiskey and watching the Patriots lose now that they both live in the same state again.
Groomsman
Ryan and Wyatt met in high school but their friendship truly blossomed one fateful night in college. This specific night they both knew they had a great idea and they, and only they, could turn it into a business. As you can tell from them not being millionaires, the business flopped...but their love for entrepreneurship and great conversation grew, and so did their friendship. He has always been a person Wyatt respects and loves for his determination, dependability, and impeccable taste in cigars. Ryan has always been there for Wyatt no matter where they are in life. For this and many more reasons he will always hold a special place in his life. They will often be found having a good, long call, smoking a cigar, enjoying a glass of whiskey, and thinking about their next project together.
Groomsman
Sean has always been a friend Wyatt can count on to have the best talks about... anything! They never let too much time go without having a call to talk about history, judo (one sided), FIFA, UFC, and everything in between. Sean didn't really, um how do we say this, like Wyatt AT ALL when they first met. Can you believe that? I know me either! After a while, Sean came to see that the kid that talked a mile a minute and related to you in any way possible was not so bad after all. In fact he was great.... but let's get back to Sean! He has always been a trust worthy and loyal friend who will be in our lives for a long long time. Where there's a pepsi freeze and a history conversation there's a Sean and Wyatt.
Officiant
Mariah is Wyatt's cousin (pretty much his sister) and one of the funniest people in his family (sorry Mr. Matson). She holds such a special place in his family and has the best teenage Wyatt stories! Feel free to ask her for some after the ceremony. When we asked her if she would not only be a part of the wedding party but be the person who marries us she didn't even hesitate! We knew she wouldn't. Be ready to have some laughs during the ceremony, listen to some awesome stories, and be in the presence of the best officiant EVER! (No pressure Mariah).
