Ireland is not only the Maid of Honor, but she is also Wyatt’s sister and one of Katherine’s closest friends. From the very beginning, Ireland made Katherine feel like she was part of the family, and they quickly became inseparable. Now, Ireland is like another sister to Katherine. Ireland is one of those extremely rare people who makes life feel lighter and easier whenever she’s around. She has this calm, effortlesss way of turning chaos into fun and stress into laughter. This is an invaluable trait not only for wedding planning, but life! Ireland leads by example and fiercely protects the people she loves. She somehow manages to juggle motherhood to two small children, providing a home base for all family coming to visit from out of town, extensive wedding planning, and still shows up looking like she stepped out of a magazine. Ireland is truly a superhuman, and we could not imagine this day without Ireland by our side.
Connor Saldaña
Best Man
Connor was Wyatt’s longest partner at AMR before Wyatt left their ambulance to pursue becoming a Paramedic. For nearly a year, Wyatt spent more time with Connor on the ambulance than he did with anyone else, including Katherine. The two of them instantly bonded the moment they were assigned to Medic 1624 together. Since then, Connor has been incredibly influential in Wyatt’s life and has helped shape Wyatt into who he is today. Not only did they bond over medicine together, Wyatt and Connor quickly learned that they had so much in common. They are both Detroit Lions fans, can communicate back and forth solely in movie quotes, and love playing board games together. Wyatt describes their relationship as an uncanny comparison to the “Other Guys” (for those that have seen the movie.) Connor is always willing to help others before himself. He has a strong personality and is extremely reliable, both at work and as a friend. We are incredibly proud to have Connor by Wyatt’s side for the wedding.
Jessica Church
Bridesmaid
Jessica is Katherine’s twin sister and life long friend. From birth, Jessica has been Katherine’s companion through every adventure, milestone, and late night talk. Twins share a bond that can be hard to describe. It’s a connection filled with shared memories and unspoken loyalty. Jessica is smart, creative, beautiful inside and out, and is endlessly kind. As a mom, she demonstrates remarkable patience, especially with small children, handling every little challenge with calm and care. Katherine can’t imagine going through this next milestone without her partner in crime by her side!
Jon Howry
Groomsman
Wyatt met Jon when working for Nike in Lincoln city. They immediately became friends and bonded over sports. Jon is a great friend who Wyatt can consistently call and “talk shop” with. They have maintained contact throughout the years and Jon is one of the oldest friends Wyatt has. Despite their distance (Jon lives in Albany, OR and Wyatt in Vancouver, WA) Jon and Wyatt still find time to meet up at least once a year in person. Jon is a fantastic person and someone Wyatt is able to talk to for hours without even realizing it. Jon has been with Wyatt throughout his life and we look forward having Jon by Wyatt’s side for the wedding.
Kayla Edwards
Bridesmaid
Katherine met Kayla through work. Kayla was the calm, steady voice on the other end of the radio as a dispatcher while Katherine worked the road. What started as professional trust quickly turned into a genuine friendship. Kayla is the kind of person who leaps headfirst into new adventures and brings a warmth wherever she goes. She’s spontaneous, loving, and outgoing. As a dedicated mom, Kayla balances strength and softness in a way that inspires everyone around her. Katherine is honored to have her by her side on such a special day.
Derek Ring
Groomsman
Wyatt met Derek when the two of them played basketball together in Albany, OR. During Covid, they were forced to remain in their homes and as a result, began to play video games together instead of basketball. The two of them would routinely play Warfare for 4-8 hours a day and shared some of the best laughs and video game inducted frustrations during this time. Derek and Wyatt continue to maintain contact now through their fantasy football league. Despite the distance and life being busy, Derek is still one of the groom’s closest and most influential people in his life - truly good person with exceptional character.
Eliza Clifford
Bridesmaid
Eliza and Katherine met at the University of Wisconsin, where they both were student athletes. In addition to being on the rowing team together, the two of them also became roommates. Between early mornings, grueling schedules, and long days, Eliza and Katherine became fast friends. Eliza’s artistic touch, thoughtful and caring spirit, and stunning presence make every moment brighter. She’s truly one of a kind, and despite living on the other side of the country now, Eliza and Katherine routinely travel to opposite coasts to still see each other. We are so lucky to have Eliza by the bride’s side on our big day!
Ryne Briley
Groomsman
Where to start?! Briley instantly became one of Wyatt’s best friends when he said he wanted to carry a sword while working on duty. They were inseparable ever since. Briley is a person who NEVER allows a dull moment to happen. He is always making others feel better through his raunchy, out of pocket humor. When Briley and Wyatt hang out, they have to block out their schedules for the rest of the evening and sometimes the early morning because they have such a fun time together. He ain’t as good as he once was but he’s as good as he’s ever been (IYKYK.) Briley is truly a good person with exceptional character and integrity. Wyatt could not imagine this big day without Briley standing by his side.
Danny Bettis
Groomsman
Danny was Wyatt’s first long time partner at AMR. During this time, Wyatt knew that “Dr. Danny” had a fantastic medical mind…and was also fair and honest. Danny is the definition of someone Wyatt would want to take care of his family member in an emergency. During their time together, Danny became an inspiration to Wyatt in his own medical journey. Outside of medicine, Danny is a guy who stands out. He is someone with integrity, doesn’t make excuses, and is always pushing others to be the best version of themselves. Danny has been by Wyatt’s side since he started at AMR and he’s been by it even after he left to become a firefighter. Now, we are excited for Danny to remain by Wyatt’s side on the big day!
Titus Weeks
Groomsman
Wyatt describes Titus as the true definition of a “3am” friend- a friend he feels would drop everything in a second to help him at any time. Wyatt met Titus at a coffee shop in Spokane, WA when Katherine met up with an old friend (Titus’s wife) from the police academy. Wyatt and Titus became fast friends. Titus is someone Wyatt enjoys talking with, to include exchanging detailed and obscure historical facts. Despite Titus and Wyatt living about 250 miles from one another, the two have had no issues staying in contact and get together almost every time Katherine and Wyatt are in town for dinner or to hit the shooting range. “Captain Titus” is a true legend amongst Wyatt’s groomsmen and across galaxies.
Sayler Davis
Flower Girl
Sayler is a niece on Wyatt’s side of the family. She is confident, beautiful, very responsible, and the very best big sister to her baby brother. From FaceTiming with the bride for hours, to keeping everyone on their toes (especially when she’s pretending to be a cop and “arresting” Uncle Wyatt,) her big personality and sweet heart make her so special to us. Sayler does not hesitate to provide her opinion and will give excellent advice on anything from fashion to house decor, making her an entrusted member of the wedding party. We can’t wait to see her light up the aisle on the big day!
Joseph Church
Ring Bearer
Joseph is a nephew on Katherine’s side of the family. While only 4 years old, Joseph (he prefers Joe these days) is full of energy, hilariously funny, and always ready to make everyone laugh. Joe loves being active and is not afraid to include everyone in his adventures (or include himself in other’s adventures…) and brings joy and excitement wherever he goes. We can’t wait to have his big, extroverted personality leading the way down the aisle!
