Wyatt and Katherine met in December of 2021 while working as an EMT and a Police Officer, respectively. Their relationship originated from the chaos of their careers, as they were both on scene of a residential burglary on the east side of Vancouver when they first met. Through the power of social media, Wyatt was able to contact Katherine after this call. The rest is history!

Months after asking her father for his blessing, Wyatt proposed to Katherine on July 28th, 2025. Wyatt drove to the Vancouver waterfront, playing country music (Katherine’s favorite) where he had told Katherine they were there to get ice cream before dinner. However, when they walked past the ice cream shop, Katherine began to get suspicious. Wyatt then got down on one knee. Clearly, the proposal was met with a resounding yes!
