FAQs

Question

Important info

Answer

As many of you know, Kristen is immunocompromised due to the medication she takes for Crohn’s Disease. Keeping her healthy is very important, especially right before traveling internationally for their honeymoon. Please avoid hugging/kissing both her and Stephen on their wedding day if there is any chance at all that you are sick so we can keep them both healthy during this exciting time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are now closed. If you said “yes” and can no longer make it, please reach out to Kristen or Stephen as soon as possible to let us know. If you said “no” and your plans have changed, we’ve already submitted our final count to the venue and aren’t able to add additional guests. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Gentlemen, think a suite and tie or a blazer with dress pants. For the ladies, a cocktail dress, dressy separates or a jumpsuit will be perfect. Keep in mind, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 and we want everyone to have time to park, walk in and find a seat before then.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is free onsite parking. For those staying at the hotel, there will be a shuttle to transport guests to and from the venue so you can leave your car at the hotel. Please see the travel page for more information on the shuttle.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided we want our wedding be an adults-only occasion. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Due to limited space, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). We want everyone to be fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and will share our photos when we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like! Please do not share any photos of the bride and groom on social media until we have had a chance to share them ourselves.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us! For this reason, please drive safely and have a designated driver or stay at the hotel and use the shuttle.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block.
