30 miles (~33 minutes away) from the AC Hotel Irvine RMS Queen Mary is a retired British ocean liner that operated primarily on the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard Line and helped during WWII. It is permanently moored in Long Beach as a tourist attraction, hotel, museum and event facility. There are many tours to take, including a paranormal ship tour.

Studios Tour in Burbank was the first job Katie had when she moved to California and ended up working on a daytime talk show after in one of the soundstages. Warner Bros. has countless film and television titles to showcase backlots, props, picture cars, costumes, etc like: Friends, Gilmore Girls, The Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter films, Batman/DC Comics. 49 miles (~1 hour 3 minutes away) from the AC Hotel Irvine Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park next to a working movie lot - Katie works in the corporate offices for Universal Pictures on the lot. The Studio Tram Tour is a must during your visit to see all the backlots and the Waterworld Stunt Show - another summer job Katie had as a Stage Manager.
46.5 miles (~1 hour 3 minutes away) from the AC Hotel Irvine The Paramount Pictures Studio Tour is the only studio tour located in actual Hollywood. It’s very similar to the Warner Bros. tour model but a smaller lot. One half of the lot was RKO Pictures and then Desilu (Lucy and Desi’s studio).
