Maid of Honor
On November 6, 2000, I had the privilege of meeting the bride the day I was born, and we have been inseparable ever since. We’ve seen each other through everything life has thrown our way, so what kind of sister, confidant, first love of her life, and maid of honor would I be if I didn’t stand up for her on her wedding day as she marries the second love of her life, our play brother Tobi?
Bridesmaid
I’m the youngest sister of the bride, aka her best friend, aka her firstborn, aka her bridesmaid. From the moment I was born, Wura has been like a second mom to me. When she and Tobi started dating, he quickly became my second dad. Now my second parents are getting married, and I truly couldn’t be happier to be part of this moment. #WeddingOfTheYear
Bridesmaid
I’m the bride’s long-lost twin… just kidding. I’m her cousin, but since we look alike, people often mix us up. We grew up together, and now we’re somehow old enough for weddings and real adult milestones. I’m so excited and honored to be a bridesmaid and celebrate Wura and Tobi’s love as they begin this next chapter and our family gets even bigger.
Bridesmaid
Well, I’m Tobi’s one and only sister. He’s not only my favorite person but also my comfort person. Ever since he was eight years old, I’ve been his biggest supporter, whether he knows it or not, and I’m so proud of him. Distance has never changed that, and I’m so excited for him and Wura. I can’t believe I’m part of the bridal party; it’s such an honor. Congratulations to you both!
Bridesmaid
I have the honor of being one of Wura’s bridesmaids. I met her when I first started attending NACA, and somehow we immediately gravitated toward each other. Before long, I was inducted into the Olajide family. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching the love between Wura and Tobi grow, and I’m so excited to celebrate their union. They both deserve the unconditional love and support they give to each other, and I’m always in awe of something so rare. I love you both deeply. Congratulations!
Bridesmaid
I’m incredibly grateful to have met Wura and Tobi in college. Wura was the best roommate I could have asked for and became the closest thing to a sister to me. When Tobi joined our friend group, we made so many unforgettable memories filled with shenanigans, but also real support and genuine friendship. I’m so proud to be Wura’s bridesmaid and feel truly blessed to watch their love continue to grow.
Bridesmaid
I met Wura nearly 11 years ago during our freshman year of college, and from the start, she carried herself with such warm and welcoming energy. She’s always been one of the kindest people I know, and I’m so grateful that we quickly formed such a special friendship that has only grown deeper over the years. Whether we’re laughing together, sharing stories, or diving into conversations about this crazy world around us, Wura has always shown me what true friendship means. Thanks to Wura, I also got to know Tobi a little under 10 years ago. I wasn’t really the type to make new friends after freshman year, but Tobi found a way into our circle and has become one of my closest friends. Like many others, I noticed the chemistry between Wura and Tobi early on, even if they didn’t. Their personalities are a perfect match, and even when they disagree, their connection is undeniable. Their love story is one of my favorites, and it’s been such a joy to watch it unfold and be part of it. Here’s to true love, endless laughter, and a lifetime of happiness together. Wura, thank you so much for letting me stand by your side as your bridesmaid; it genuinely means the world to me.
Best Man
My bond with Tobi goes beyond family; he’s not only my brother, but he's also one of my best friends. From growing up together and giving each other piggyback rides to grab candy from the top shelf, to now standing beside him as his best man, we’ve shared countless laughs, challenges, and memories along the way. He’s always had a strong sense of purpose, a loyal spirit, and a genuinely good heart. Seeing the man he’s become has been incredible, and watching him with someone who truly understands him and complements him in every way makes it even better. I couldn’t be prouder to stand beside him as he begins this next chapter of his life.
Groomsman
I’ve known Tobi since the day I was born, 26 years and counting. Although we don’t share the same blood, it wouldn’t feel right to call him anything less than my brother. Growing up together has been a true blessing, and I’m grateful to have had Tobi by my side from the very beginning. From the day Tobi told me about Wura, I had no doubt she was the woman he would marry. She brings out the best in him, supporting and loving him in ways that make everyone around them better. Watching my brother marry such a wonderful woman couldn’t make me happier for them both, and I’m excited to celebrate this next chapter of their lives together.
Groomsman
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Tobi my whole life as my older cousin, a constant presence at family gatherings, birthdays, and countless celebrations filled with laughter and unforgettable memories. Over the years, we’ve shared more than our fair share of laughs, and despite the miles between us, every reunion has felt as though we picked up exactly where we left off. I’ve long admired his character, unwavering loyalty, and deep sense of family. I came to know Wura through him, and it has been a genuine pleasure to witness the love, joy, and partnership they’ve built together. I’m truly honored to stand beside Tobi as a groomsman on such a significant day, and only slightly relieved that my responsibilities stop short of giving a speech. I couldn’t be happier to celebrate this remarkable new chapter with them both.
Groomsman
Tobi and I lived together, ate together, and competed side by side for the better part of six years in high school. Our shared love of gaming and sports forged a bond that time and distance could never weaken. Now, as a groomsman, I’m beyond happy to witness Tobi marry the love of his life, and I couldn’t be prouder.
Groomsman
I’ve known Tobi for many years now. What started as simply playing games together slowly grew into a true brotherhood. We’ve had countless deep conversations about life, goals, and everything in between. Tobi always brought a level of experience and maturity that helped me see situations from different perspectives. Watching his journey and growth has been inspiring, and I’m genuinely happy to see him step into this next chapter with the person who truly complements him.
Groomsman
I’ve known Tobi for more than 15 years now. In that time, I’ve seen his kindness and strength touch everyone around him. From words of wisdom in dark times to shared joy in the best of times, Tobi has been a true blessing. Seeing him marry his perfect match in Wura is truly a joy. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and endless happiness.
