Banff is a 1.5 hour drive away from Calgary and is incredibly beautiful! Stroll through the shops (especially the candy shop!) on main street, head to the Upper Hot Springs to relax, and enjoy a fondue meal at the Grizzly House restaurant (this place books up quickly so make a reservation!). We recommend getting the Alberta special on a hot rock!

Always a fun time! Come see the penguins, tigers and pandas! Avoid the dinosaur area if you can (drumheller is 10000x better!). There's a big playground and merry go round for the kids! Bring a stroller or wagon for the kids as it is a lot of walking!
Fun, interactive science center for all ages!
