Where do we park?

Answer

Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden has a limited parking lot. If you can't find a spot there, we've gotten approval to park in one of the lots at Reed College, on SE 28th & SE Steele Street. This lot is 3/10ths of a mile from the venue, so a little bit of a walk. If you have a smaller group, we'd recommend taking a ride share to the venue!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not so much of a code as a suggestion — Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, it's brunch! Please indulge us by wearing light/pale colors such as neutrals or pastels. Also, stiletto/spiked heels aren't recommended, since we'll be on grass.

What if it rains?

Answer

It's Portland, so it might. The reception area will be partially covered by patio umbrellas. We'll have some personal umbrellas on hand, but you'll want to check the weather and bring a jacket or umbrella in case it starts to rain.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

The bar is on us — we'll have a mimosa bar, rosé, sodas, juice, plus coffee.

Will there be cake?

Answer

Actually, there will be ice cream! We have Nico's New Zealand-style ice cream serving up half pints of strawberry, raspberry, marionberry, or blueberry ice cream.

Can I bring a plus one to your wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask that our guests not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
