Where should we stay?
At this time, due to a big convention in town, our prior block reservations at the Sheraton have been canceled.
At this point, until we're able to lock down block rooms, I'd suggest finding accommodations in the Central Business District, Mid City, Lower/Upper Garden District. (safer neighborhoods).
The ceremony is at Grow Dat Farm-a venue in City Park, close to Mid city/Gentilly neighborhoods. There are not hotels near here, there is some great/cheaper Air bnbs that would be perfect.
Typically, out of towners stay in the French Quarter-Lovely & must see, it is very close to "all hours" Bourbon Street, higher hotel prices, & not very family friendly.
