Why did you chose GrowDat Youth Farms?

Answer

Not only is it a beautiful location, but it is a non-profit that all the wedding proceeds go to back to the farm. New Orleans youth are deeply impacted by food insecurity and insufficient access to high quality housing, health care, and safe spaces. According to The Data Center, 36.9% of New Orleans youth (aged 18 and younger) lived below the national poverty level in 2015. The City of New Orleans reported that 23% of New Orleans residents are food insecure. Too many youth in our city go hungry or do not have access to fresh foods. By choosing this venue, not only is it beautiful by the bayou under the old live oak trees, but it is giving back to the city that we love.

Breezy Airlines do direct flights really cheap on Thursdays-Sundays. I would start there if you are coming from Louisville.
