In July 2019, Christina's friend Cari and Tyler's friend Corlin realized they each had a friend looking for that special someone. The two matchmakers shared photos back and forth and decided to introduce the pair over text. Two weeks later Tyler finally responded and the rest is history! (Kidding, but seriously TWO weeks!) What started as long distance dates every weekend between Laguna and Studio City, quickly turned into that once in a lifetime kinda love.

In the middle of a pandemic, on the second night of what soon became the longest election week in history, Tyler told Christina to wear something aside from Lululemon yoga pants for a fancy date night out at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach at sunset. With masks still in his pocket, Tyler got down on one knee and asked Christina to marry him...and now really, the rest is history! We celebrated in the most 2020 way possible - back at home, champagne in hand, Postmates burritos delivered, while FaceTiming our families and friends to share the news!
