Question

When is your wedding? Did you postpone due to Covid-19?

Answer

Our wedding is currently planned for 11/13/21. Yes, we postponed our original wedding due to the global pandemic (mainly because our venue had only ONE available date left for 2021). Your safety is our top priority. We also want to be able to actually HUG and party with you guys.

How do I RSVP? WHEN do I RSVP?

Answer

In lieu of any physical RSVP, we ask that you respond through this website, on the RSVP page. Tell us who can/ cannot make it that is listed on your invitation, what you would like to eat, and feel free to leave any other message to us (including any name misspellings, dietary restrictions or love notes!) The online RSVPs are due 10/16/2021, so you have some time… but don’t forget about us!

What is your theme or your color scheme?

Answer

Since we are getting married in the “2020’s”, we decided a “1920’s” theme was fitting, and our colors are champagne gold, antique gold, ivory, and a touch of gray. The overall look we are going for is classy "Gatsby Glam", with some elegant touches of nerd thrown in there.

What should I wear?

Answer

While the look is “Gatsby glam” it is NOT a costume party. There will be an elegant yet party atmosphere, with a touch of 20’s to every aspect. So, feel free to join us with bringing the 1920s to 2021! Semi-formal attire is suggested, so just look your best! Wear a dress or wear pants, but you’re expected to dance!

Can I bring a guest? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those addressed on the invitation attend our wedding. If you intend on bringing (or not bringing) a plus one not on your invitation, please tell us so we have the correct information. Also, please note that there will not be any young children attending our wedding (only a few close teenagers) so we can all let loose!

Is there anything I need to know about the wedding before I attend?

Answer

We will be having a "dollar dance" but with SHOTS! That's right, you "pay" for a dance with either of us one-on-one (that's how a typical dollar dance works) but you ALSO get to do a shot before we dance! So, bring those dollar bills! You should also bring cash for tip money (but don’t worry, it is an open bar).

Is your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the same place?

Answer

Everything is on the Sand Springs Country Club property. The locations are separate and weather pending for each private wedding “event” but all on the same grounds. So, in other words, yes, you park in the parking lot then you stay at Sand Springs until the end.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Right now, there is not because neither the venue nor the hotel provide one. If enough guests book a room with our wedding block we WILL get a shuttle, so let us know and stay tuned! Either way, the venue is just a couple minutes away from the hotel... so plan on partying hard!

Are you going on a Honeymoon?

Answer

Eventually... we’re calling it a “Latermoon” for when we save up for it.
