No! We already got married back on 2.12.2022! This is not an invitation to a wedding, and you won't need to sit through a ceremony - you're welcome! We just want to celebrate this exciting time in our lives with friends and family.
On Saturday, February 12th we parted ways in the morning. Sam went to work out, Trinity had her hair done. We reconvened later that afternoon, got all dressed up, and had an early dinner at Mango Thai in St. Paul. From there, the wedding ceremony took place at 6 PM in Trinity's living room under lights we'd strung up together earlier that morning. Our witnesses were Sam's friend Brian and Trinity's friend Adrienne; Trinity's grandfather "Papa Rick" did the honor of officiating. We laughed at Papa Rick's stories, performed a ceremonial handfasting, exchanged vows, said our "I Do's," and smooched. Then we ate slices of delicious tres leches cake from Cafe Latte. Boom! We are husband and wife!
Good question! The invitation cards you received serve both as an invitation to our August celebration AND an announcement that we are in fact married. We also wanted to make sure you understood that there has not been a reception/party/gathering that you were excluded from. We love you, the party is August 20th, and we hope you'll come!
Please RSVP by July 20th. This way we can better account for the fun stuff (food, space, activities).
