A must-see if your not familiar with Madison. The Dane County Farmers Market on the Square is a Saturday tradition in Madison. The market is the largest producer-only farmers' market in the country.

The University of Wisconsin Arboretum is a leader in ecological restoration. The arboretum includes the oldest and most varied collection of restored ecological communities in the world. Public use of the arboretum and facilities are free.
Henry Vilas Zoo
The Vilas Zoo is one of only a few admission-free, community-supported zoos in the country. The zoo is located next to the UW Arboretum. The grooms' favorite animals: seals and red pandas.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens
