Camelback Mountain
One of the most known hikes in Phoenix! The view at the top looks over the whole valley. It is a very popular trail, and requires mobility over big rocks. Make sure to bring lots of water as there is not much coverage from the sun.
Piestewa Peak Trailhead
My personal favorite hike in Phoenix with a gorgeous view at the top! The trail is well marked and established. Make sure to bring lots of water as there is not much coverage from the sun.
The Flat iron Peak
A more difficult hike for those up to the challenge in the Superstition Mountain Range! Make sure to stay to the left on this trail as it can become incredibly steep
Papago Park
A pretty place for morning walks to see and climb some rocks that look like they could be out of the Flintstones!
Hole in the Rock
A cool view point! If going at sunset make sure to arrive early
Old Town Scottsdale
A historic district of Scottsdale known for their different western shops and traditional Arizona artwork! A cool place to walk around!
Scottsdale Quarter
The Scottsdale Quarter is a cool place to go for dinner or shopping! Lit up palm trees line the center or the quarter and are beautiful at night!
Scottsdale Civic Center
A cool park to walk located in Old Town, Scottsdale

Our personal favorite street tacos in the area! The pastor is amazing! Just be mindful it’s not in the safest area if you to.
Lake Pleasant
One of our lakes about 45 minutes outside of the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. This lake has rentals for boats, jet-skis and Paddle boards as well as other water fun!
Canyon Lake
My personal favorite lake for paddle boarding about 50 minutes outside of Scottsdale. This lake allows drive down access with multiple picnic areas.
Sedona
One of the most well known landmarks in Arizona! A beautiful destination for an overnight or day trip! With approximately a two hour drive from Phoenix/Scottsdale there is endless natural beauty, and vantage points as well as many restaurants and shops to explore
Grand Canyon National Park
The greatest landmark in Arizona with breathtaking views and hiking! My favorite is the views at sunrise! This national park is located 3.5-4 hour drive from Phoenix/Scottsdale. If you have time, a must see!
Horseshoe Bend
A 4 hour drive outside of Phoenix/Scottsdale, this gorgeous view can be seen! To get to the vantage point is a 10 minute walk down a well established trail. A very popular lookout!
Antelope Canyon
Known for their vibrant colored caves and canyons this destination lies on Indian Reservation and requires a booked tour with guide to explore. The canyons are beautiful and located only a 10 minute drive from Horseshoe Bend if you make the drive for that landmark!
