Making a trip out of your visit? St. Louis is about 1.5 hours from Salem, IL. Spend some time in the city before heading to Salem, or on your way back. Below are some recommendations based on where Cameron and I have visited!

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

General entrance is free. Some exhibits require reservations and extra fees. The zoo has paid parking for $20 right at the entrance, or you can find many free parking options along the streets of Forest Park and on Delmar Blvd. The Science Center also offers parking that is accessible from the zoo for $15.

St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station

We went here during the solar eclipse and found it was a neat and cute coffee shop with a wide range of fun and tasty drinks. Try it during your stay (closed on Sundays)!
