Yes! The dress code is semi-formal. The wedding party will be in formal attire, and it is optional for all guests. Men can opt for dress shirt, slacks, and may choose to wear a tie. Women may choose from cocktail and midi-length dresses, pantsuits, or dressy blouses and slacks. Please no jeans. There will be lots of dancing, and the parking lot is crushed gravel while the venue has paved surfaces, so choose shoes that offer mobility. We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride, including whites, ivories, and creams. The bridesmaids will be wearing sage green, so feel free to complement but not match their colors. We cannot wait to see you to dressed up!

The Holiday Inn Express in Salem, IL will offer a complimentary shuttle between the hotel and the venue as needed.
A Fair Barn has a crushed gravel parking lot just outside of the venue. Cars can be left overnight until 10 AM if you are unable to drive home in the evening. Paved handicap spots are also available at the entrance to the venue. Please drive responsibly!
Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. This pertains to all children including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. Please refer to the invitation to see if we are able to accommodate your children. If we are unable to invite your children, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and party with us!
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(Your Name) & Guest"; for families, it will list "(Your Name) & Family".
The ceremony will start promptly at 4 PM. We recommend guests arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 PM so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, someone will be there to let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight, and we will see you at the reception. Thank you for understanding!
The bride herself has a dietary restriction, so you can be sure that we will take your restrictions/preferences seriously. If you have any questions or restrictions related to the food at the wedding, please mention this on the RSVP (you will be asked about it). We will inform the caterer about your needs (i.e., no dairy, separate preparation space, etc.) and ensure that your meal is safe. The food will be served buffet style, but we will be sure to offer you an alternative safe option. If you forgot to include this on your RSVP, or if anything changes after you RSVP, please contact Olivia or Cameron directly.
We're thrilled to share that there will be an open bar throughout the event, ending one hour before the conclusion of the reception. The bar will feature beer, wine, and a select few cocktails chosen by your bride and groom! Non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails are also available. We ask that you please enjoy responsibly. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
We are doing a digital RSVP in order to be more efficient and environmentally conscious. On your invitation, you will be directed to our wedding website. Click on the RSVP tab on the top menu. You will be asked to enter at least one name of a member in your family/group. On the next page, you can select individual members who will be attending and answer the additional questions. After that, you can sit back and relax! We will be notified of your response. Please RSVP by May 1, 2025. This is a firm deadline, as we must communicate headcount to our caterer and venue soon after the date. We regretfully cannot accommodate individuals who did not RSVP on time. If you cannot make it to the wedding, please RSVP "no" as soon as possible as well. You will be missed!
The ceremony will be outside under a covered pavilion with fans. Current weather conditions are about 75-80° and humid during the ceremony. The cocktail hour will also be outside under the pavilion, but the reception will be in the air conditioned barn. The pavilion will remain open for the night to get fresh air, and we’ll even have some corn hole boards set up outside for guests to enjoy!
