Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re lucky to have everything we need at home, so your presence is the greatest gift. If you’d like to give, a contribution toward our honeymoon adventures would make us happiest!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. We love your little ones, but our venue is on the cozy side. To make the night relaxing for everyone, our celebration will be adults-only (18+). Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a date?

If you’d like to bring a guest, please check with us ahead of time so we can be sure to accommodate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue, but it is limited. To help ensure everyone has a spot, we kindly encourage guests to carpool whenever possible.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside, with the reception to follow inside the barn. Please note the barn is rustic in style with natural openings between the wood.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, all of our wedding will take place at The Wedding Barn at Blackjack Vineyard

Do you have a room block?

Answer

We’ve reserved room blocks at the following hotels for your convenience: • Home2 Suites by Hilton about 5.5 miles from the venue Rates start at $143 per night (before taxes) • Holiday Inn Carbondale about 9 miles from the venue Rates start at $112 per night (before taxes)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have transportation, guest will need to plan accordingly.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please dress in dressy casual attire suitable for an outdoor ceremony and a barn reception. Women: cocktail or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant layers. Boots or block heels are welcome for comfort on outdoor ground. Men: dress shirts with dress pants or dark jeans; blazers or vests fit the rustic setting perfectly. Light layers are recommended as evening temperatures may be cool. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white or ivory, also overly casual clothing such as T-shirts, shorts, or flip-flops.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 P.M. We recommend arriving between 3:30 P.M. and 3:45 P.M. so you have time to get comfortable, find your seat, and soak in the moment before we say “I do.”
