We’re Getting Married!

We’ve been asked a lot how we met, and sure, we could come up with a really great story to tell you all… but we’ll be honest. Clayton was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace looking for the deal of a lifetime, only it wasn’t Marketplace, it was Facebook Dating. Turns out, he still found the best deal he’s ever gotten. 😉

No perfect “aww” moment, but it’s us and our love story. When Clayton bought the ring, he could barely stand to keep it a secret. He was ready to propose that same night in the kitchen, no less but decided to wait for the “perfect” moment. Then he checked the weather, saw ten straight days of rain, and said, “Forget it.” So at 6:35 a.m., in the most spontaneous and genuine way, he asked me to marry him right there in our bedroom. Just us exactly the way we both wanted it to be!
