Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding dress code for Saturday is Garden Party Formal. For men, suits (tie optional). For women, fancy cocktail dresses or long or midi dresses (summery cheerful colors/prints are encouraged). Our ceremony will be outside, so we recommend block/thicker heels to avoid any issues with the grass.

Question

WILL THERE BE SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FROM THE HOTELS TO THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided from The Source Hotel on Saturday to LionsGate Event Center in Lafayette, CO. The shuttle will depart to Lionsgate from The Source Hotel promptly at 4pm MST. It is approximately a 25-minute drive from downtown Denver to the wedding venue. If you would prefer to take your own transportation to the venue (drive or Uber), please make sure to give yourselves ample time! Shuttle transportation back to The Source Hotel from Lionsgate will start at 10pm MST and be available at the top of every hour (last shuttle will depart Lionsgate at 1am MST).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! For those who wish to drive to the ceremony and reception, there is plenty of free parking at Lionsgate Event Center where both Saturday events are being held.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be indoors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your invitation to see if you received a plus one!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to have a good time without having to worry about little ones, we politely request adult attendance only.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June in Colorado can be hot, but there will also likely be a large swing in temperature between midday and evening. Average temperatures range from 83°F to 57°F, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended as it can get chilly at night.

Question

Can you tell me about altitude sickness?

Answer

The Denver, Colorado elevation is about 5,280 feet above sea level; there’s a reason it’s called the “Mile High City”! At higher altitudes, your body takes in less oxygen due to the decrease in air pressure. Lower oxygen levels mean your breathing and heart rate increase as your body works harder to take in oxygen. You may experience symptoms such as headache, dizziness, shortness of breath, fatigue, etc. Only ~8-10% of Denver visitors experience altitude sickness. Please make sure to drink lots of water throughout your visit, and try to rest if you do experience symptoms.
