Please RSVP by Feb 28, 2025! Rooms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
While it is possible to take the bus from Marseille to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, this would likely require taking 2 buses over 3 hours. Once in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, you may be able to find taxis to take you around the region, but it may be difficult to find a taxi in more isolated areas or outside of common business hours. As a result, we highly recommend that you rent a car or coordinate with other guests to carpool. There is typically parking at most hotels and homestays in the region, and of course, there will be ample parking at the wedding venue.
You certainly do not! However, we do recommend it as it will be difficult to find taxis or transport to get to the venue (or you will need to have a designated driver). We also think it will be great fun having everyone stay together to enjoy all of the festivities planned! Staying at the monastery will cost 100-140 Euros per adult per night, depending on room type. If you’re interested in staying at the monastery, please indicate in your RSVP and we will reach out about booking your room.
Yes! We can accommodate families being in the same rooms together at the monastery.
During the day, temperatures typically reach 30°C (86°F). The sun sets around 9:30pm, with evening temepratures cooling to around 18°C (64°F). July is one of the driest months in Provence, so rain is unlikely, but it’s always wise to bring a light jacket or umbrella, just in case.
Our wedding ceremony, reception, and dinner will be outdoors, and the after-party will be inside the chapel. There is plenty of space indoors should the weather not cooperate.
Welcome Lake Party: Smart Casual with a Beachy Twist. Think breezy dresses, linen shirts, or tailored shorts, and bring your swimsuits for a refreshing boat ride and dip in the lake. Wedding: Elegant Summer Chic. Light, breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, and flowy silks are perfect for staying cool and comfortable under the French summer sun.
Anything but stiletto heels! There are a bunch of cobblestones and grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals.
Yes! We would love for you to take photos. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
