What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes before to allow yourself time to find your seat!

We kindly request that you make arrangements for childcare during our adult-only wedding. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I bring a date?

To ensure we have accurate guest counts, please only bring a date if the invitation specifically mentions a plus one for you. We've carefully curated our guest list, and while we can't wait to meet everyone special in your life, we want to make sure we accommodate our venue capacity and have an accurate headcount for food and beverage. Thank you for your understanding!

The dress code for our special day is cocktail or semi-formal. For gentlemen, this typically means a suit and tie, while ladies may opt for a cocktail dress. If you have any specific questions about the dress code, don't hesitate to reach out. We can't wait to celebrate in style with all our loved ones!

Is the ceremony and reception outdoors?
Answer
YES! Both the ceremony and reception will be located outdoors... in May! Given the unpredictable weather conditions during a Michigan spring - please dress accordingly, bring an umbrella/raincoat if necessary, and pack layers for chillier nights. The reception will be in the Pavilion which is heated and can be enclosed should their be rain in the forecast.

Are there places to stay outside of Bay Pointe Inn?
Answer
YES! There are a ton of Airbnb's and VRBO's on Gun Lake. Other than that, there aren't many options within 20 minutes. We have booked hotel blocks near Grand Rapids and Hastings. Please see our "Travel" page.
