Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Alexis Loren Witwer and Justin Skyler Walker
We are super excited to share some of our favorite things to do around Jacksonville (and Florida for the adventurers).

Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve

505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082

Our favorite beach! Amazing for shell/teeth hunting, relaxing, and has some hiking trails to see some Florida Wildlife! We like parking at the first lot (text to pay) or the main trail entrance for hiking! Reach out to anyone local if you have questions, it's a popular family spot!

Riverside Arts Market

Riverside Arts Market

715 Riverside Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204

This is a favorite spot of ours! Under the Fuller-Warren Bridge on the St John's River, the free yoga classes every Saturday at 9 am are a fantastic way to start any weekend, followed by some local coffee and treats. The space has often doubled as a lunch spot for Skyler from the FIS office.

Jacksonville Beach Pier

503 1st Street North, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250

Jacksonville Beach! The pier is a central location we have met to hang out at the beach, eat at some of our favorite places, and visit some fun events at the pavilion.

Ichetucknee Springs State Park

Ichetucknee Springs State Park

FL 32071

The closest "float" spring to Jacksonville and one of our personal favorites to go visit! Super fun to rent tubes close by or bring your own floats to go down the crystal clear 72 degree water and just enjoy nature.

Saint George Street

Saint George Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084

We enjoy strolling the streets of Saint Augustine, The Oldest Town in America. It’s vibrant and full of energy, regardless of the time of year. St. George Street has no cars and tons of super fun options from great pizza, iconic ice cream, and some cool speakeasies!

Blue Spring State Park

Blue Spring State Park

FL

An amazing Florida Spring that hosts hundreds of manatees during the winter time. All of the Florida Springs are amazing sights, but this one is particularly beautiful during February with all of the manatees present.
