The start of forever!

Skyler and Lexi’s story started on the very first day of college, inside the dorms of the Hicks Honors College at UNF. Both eager freshmen with wide eyes and even wider dreams, they quickly became friends. By fate (or maybe just really good housing assignments), they found themselves in the same friend group, spending that entire first year laughing, studying, and making memories side by side. But the spark that would eventually turn into something much bigger came during the summer before sophomore year, when they both signed up for the UNF study abroad trip to Peru. Between hikes through breathtaking landscapes, exploring new cultures, and late-night conversations under foreign skies, their friendship transformed into something deeper. Adventure and nature became the heartbeats of their story. Skyler’s energy flows like the ocean, bringing excitement and fun wherever he goes. Lexi’s calm presence, like the steady growth of trees, grounds and nurtures their world. A bond that holds firm, no matter how the waves rise or the winds blow. Since 2019, Skyler and Lexi have built a life full of joy, laughter, and countless adventures. And on June 6, 2024, Skyler made it official with a proposal that marked the start of their next great adventure: marriage.
