airbnb Information

Philly is full of nice airbnb options that are in fun and convenient locations! You can search for a single family rental or go in on sharing a house/rental with others. If more than one family wants to go in on an airbnb together then it's even more affordable! Areas/neighborhoods we would recommend looking that are convenient to the wedding venue (either walking or Lyft/Uber) are Center City, Old City, Penn's Landing, Rittenhouse (usually a bit pricier, but sometimes you can find a great gem), and the Gayborhood.

Hotel

Marriott Fairfield Suites

This hotel is 2 blocks away from the wedding/reception venue and situated in the heart of Center City with paid parking on site. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and cheap Lyft/Uber/public transportation to anywhere in the city! There are 9 King rooms and 4 Queen-Queen rooms available the night of Wednesday, October 27th, and 17 King rooms and 12 Queen-Queen rooms available from Thursday, October 28th-Sunday, October 31st. The rooms will be at the discounted rate of $159 per night. Any rooms from the Wittig-Flynn room block that are still not booked by October 1st will go back to the standard rate.

Cambria Hotel & Suites Philadelphia Downtown

The Cambria is conveniently located around the corner from The Arts Ballroom wedding venue with paid parking on-site. There are 5 King rooms and 5 Queen-Queen rooms available each night from Wednesday, October 27-Sunday, October 31 (checking out Sunday, October 31) at the discounted rate of $189 per night. If they are not all booked by September 28th then they will be released to the general public at their regular rate. You don’t have to stay the whole weekend, of course, but we’d love to encourage you to stay and enjoy your time in our city with family and friends!

Travel Note

Transportation

There are multiple options for transportation from the airport to where you are staying. We would probably recommend a taxi over Lyft or Uber since it is a lot cheaper. Lyft/Uber have gotten a lot pricier since Covid so we have been using cabs more often. There is a taxi pick up by baggage claim. If you coordinate with other family members you can share a Lyft/Uber/taxi to make it more affordable. Public transportation (train) is also very easy if you are comfortable with making your way around the city.

Both hotels have parking on site that is an additional fee. There’s also a parking garage directly across the street from our wedding venue.
