Boo at the Zoo
The Philly Zoo has a great event every Halloween for the whole family called Boo at the Zoo...the kids will love it!
The Franklin Institute
The Franklin Institute is a fun museum that is great for the kids and always has fun Halloween activities happening each year! In years prior they have had fun things like: • Make your own slime and LED trick-or-treat pins • Watch spooky eye and heart dissections • Check out "ghostly," smoke-filled bubbles that bounce • Make "bloody" handprints on color-changing paper • Walk through the haunted Giant Heart • Tour the "Witches Kitchen" where there will be a Halloween feel box •Join in glow-in-the-dark karaoke • Stop for spooky storytime in the Train Factory • Learn the science of fear in Your Brain • Attend a costume parade (make sure your costume doesn't include a mask or weapon) •Watch an explosion to end the day We will update our site when they decide what they are doing this year!
Adventure Aquarium
Just across the Delaware River is the aquarium and it is sooo great! Fun for the whole family and I'm sure they will have fun Halloween activities going on that weekend!
Eastern State Penitentiary
Perhaps not for the kids, but a creepy (historic) Halloween attraction! If you are a history buff...this tour is very interesting. If you like the thrill of a creepy old prison turned haunted attraction...this is for you. This is the most popular, super creepy Halloween attraction in the city!
Halloween at The Academy of Natural Sciences
Each year this museum has really cool Halloween activities which we will update once announced for 2021. In years prior they have trick or treating between the different exhibits which include dinosaurs, butterflies, and bugs! The kids will love it!

The PTM is THE museum for kids! It's interactive and always has fun Halloween activities planned including trick or treating!
Franklin Square
Franklin Square is a nice park in the city that has food and a carousel. If it's nice out go enjoy a warm beverage or beer and a Philly pretzel while the kids ride the carousel.
