Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal event. Men should wear dress slacks with a jacket. A tie is not required, and please don't wear a tux. Women can a wear a formal dress, cocktail dresses, or of course a nice pants suit. It will be hot, so please keep that in mind.

What events will be outside? Will there be anyway to escape the July sun?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside but don't fret, the location of the ceremony has lots of shade you can escape to. The cocktail hour will be free-flowing; we will have games and activities outside but will be right next to the indoor reception area so you can have a chance to relax in the AC.

Can I bring a guest if the invite wasn't addressed to me and a plus one?

Answer

As much as we'd LOVE to be able to offer a plus one to everyone, our goal is to keep our wedding as intimate as we can so we get to spend more time with YOU.

Can we explore areas other than the ones where events will be held?

Answer

YES, in fact, please do! The Botanical Gardens are beautiful and deserve to be explored. Feel free to explore the property but please be mindful, other events could be going on at the same time.

Can I smoke on the Garden grounds?

Answer

There are designated smoking areas in front of the main building near the parking lot with ashtrays available for use! PLEASE do not smoke inside the gardens- this is not allowed and can result in a hefty fine (on you and us).

Face masks?

Answer

We recommend all guests follow current CDC guidelines on wearing face masks during the wedding. The CDC still recommends that people who are not fully vaccinated wear a mask while around others.
