Haleakalā Sunrise or Sunset Hike
Watching the sunrise from the summit of Haleakalā — a dormant volcano rising over 10,000 feet above sea level — is one of Maui’s most breathtaking experiences. Sunrise reservations are required through the National Park Service and can be booked up to 60 days in advance at www.recreation.gov. For guests who prefer to explore by day, there are several scenic trails at the summit, including the Sliding Sands Trail, which offers surreal, otherworldly views of the volcanic crater.
Ulua Beach
One of the best snorkeling spots in the area with clear water and coral reefs close to shore. About a 5 minute walk from our room block hotel!
Molokini Crater Snorkel or Dive
There are tons of half-day snorkel and/or scuba dive trips that leave from nearby Kihei (10 minute drive). The Molokini Crater is one of Maui's most popular destinations to see marine life!
Wailea Beach Path
Our favorite thing to do in Maui is grab a coffee and do the Wailea Coastal Walk, a beautiful paved oceanfront path connecting the major resorts—perfect for sunrise or sunset. Begin the walk at any point on the trail and simply explore all that Wailea has to offer! Hint: This walking path is the easiest way to get from the room block hotel to the ceremony and reception venues!
Kayak or Standup Paddleboard
