Nikkah Ceremony

A sacred beginning, spoken with intention and witnessed in grace.
In Ismaili Muslim tradition, the Nikkah marks the spiritual joining of two souls through a ceremony of prayer, humility, and sacred promise. It is a moment of stillness and a recognition of love as both a bond and a blessing.
All our guests are warmly invited to witness this meaningful tradition with intention and faith. The Nikkah will be performed in accordance with Ismaili customs, guided by prayer and the presence of the Jamatkhana.
Attire: Modest, formal, and respectful. Traditional South Asian or neutral-toned Western dress is welcome.
Note: Shoes will be removed upon entering the prayer space.
Following the ceremony, please join us for chai and cake lovingly provided by the bride’s family.
