What is the weather like in Tuscany in September/October?

Answer

October is a great month to visit Tuscany because it is still warm, but the days are not hot. Plan to dress in layers - a few showers are possible as well.

May guests take photos at the wedding ceremony?

Of course! We also have an amazing photographer who will be there to capture our event.

What would you recommend for transportation?

Answer

If you are not planning on renting a vehicle for your stay, we recommend using public transportation (bus, train) to get around Tuscany.

What type of shoes should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

La Lucciolaia is an agristurismo (Italian for “farm-stay") and as such is an outdoor venue. The ceremony will be taking place on grass. Therefore, we recommend stable shoes such as wedges or block heels to avoid sinking into the grass. The ground may be uneven in places so lower heels are recommended, but if you can dance in high heels, more power to you!

Are both the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! The Welcome Dinner, Ceremony, and Reception will all be at La Lucciolaia.

Will we be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony, aperitivo, and reception will all be outside. Get ready dine al fresco under the Tuscan stars!
