Airport

Closest Airport to us in New Jersey is Newark International Airport. However if you decide you want to stay in New York or don’t mind extra travel you can also use La Guardia or JFK Airport.

Train

New Jersey Transit

If coming from NYC and require mass transit: Train: From Penn Station take the Morris and Essex Line toward Dover. Get off at Brick Church and transfer to the Gladstone Line toward Gladstone. Get off at Stirling stop. Walk 1.0 miles to destination. Bus: From Port Authority take the Lakeland Bus 78 toward Bernardsville. Get off at Valley Rd & Mountain Ave stop. Walk 1.0 miles to destination.

We are using this hotel as our preferred hotel. They have excellent rates and offer shuttle service to and from the venue for up to 11 people at a time x 2. You must book by 60 days prior to the event. The link above is a direct link to our block for Friday through Sunday at a discounted rate. We are unsure of the rate of you decide to stay longer days. If you’re booking by phone, tell them it’s for the Reuter-DeFonte wedding.

Travel Note

Driving

If you are driving from Brooklyn, the easiest way to come is from South Brooklyn. Take I-278 W and go over the Verrazano bridge. Continue on I-278 W towards the Goethals bridge. Once over the Goethals, exit left towards I-95 N, NJ Turnpike. Merge left to stay on I-95 N and then merge left towards NJ Turnpike N. Take exit to merge onto I-78 towards US 9, US 22. Keep right to merge onto I-78 W toward Clinton. Continue on I-78 W toward Garden State Pkwy, Clinton. Take exit 40 toward Hwy-531 toward the Plainfield’s, Gillette. Turn right on Hillcrest Dr. Turn left on Mountain Ave. Turn left onto Valley Rd. Destination is on right in one mile.
