Camping at Eagle Beach Recreation Area

Eagle Beach Recreation Area is located 20 miles north of the Juneau International Airport. We will be setting up a comprehensive camp kitchen and general group site. We encourage everyone to camp with us and pack accordingly – feel free to bring a musical instrument or camp game! Please note we will be reserving the three cabins at Eagle Beach once they become available for Louie & Lerina and select guests. Anyone needing or having extra camping equipment, we've created a Facebook group for coordination: https://www.facebook.com/groups/winterhoock/

Note to guests: All hotels are far from where we will be camping at Eagle Beach Recreation Area. Local Hotel Recommendations include: The Baranof Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton Juneau, Silverbow Inn Hotel & Suites (hot tubs on the roof), The Alaskan Hotel & Bar, The Driftwood Hotel, Best Western Grandma's Feather Bed. If you are arriving late at night or departing early in the morning, check to make sure your hotel is physically close to the Juneau International Airport, or that they provide a shuttle.
