Ganna Walska Lotusland, also known as Lotusland, is a non-profit botanical garden located in Montecito. The garden is the historic estate of Madame Ganna Walska. We love this place, you could get lost in here for hours. One of the most amazing gardens we have ever been in.

Old Mission Santa Barbara is a community of many parts, but one spirit. The Mission has served as a gathering place and spiritual home for many since its establishment in 1786. Today the Mission operations include a museum, gift shop, cemetery and mausoleum, and several historic gardens, as well as being the home to a community of Franciscan Friars on about 15 acres. The Mission is also home base for Saint Barbara Parish, which operates under the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the Santa Bárbara Mission Archive-Library, a separate Franciscan-sponsored non-profit, and a Novitiate which provides the first year of education for Friars in training from across the United States.
Cold Spring Tavern is a former stagecoach stop dating back to 1886, located between Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez in the beautiful mountains on the San Marcos Pass off Highway 154. Here you can appreciate the true history of the old stagecoach days while enjoying lunch and drinks. The Tri Tip sandwich is delicious! Walk in or call ahead for reservations.
Los Olivos is a tiny little wine town in the Santa Ynez Valley. It is about 45 minutes by car from downtown Santa Barbara. This is our favorite place to wine hop. There are tasting rooms and quaint little restaurants all within walking distance to each other. Our favorite tasting room of all time is located here, Stolpman Vineyards. We suggest Ubering or appointing a designated driver if you make the trip to Los Olivos or Santa Ynez.
