Buy them as soon as you can, as prices do go up closer to the date. SBA is the most convenient airport to fly into. It is only a 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. Other nearby airports include Burbank (BUR) which is 78.9 miles away and Los Angeles (LAX) which is 81.2 miles away. Flights to LAX will probably be cheapest but keep in mind you will have to rent a car or schedule transportation to Santa Barbara.
