Invitations will be sent out January 2026. Please ensure all RSVPs are received by no later than February 28, 2026. RSVP via the RSVP tab on our website.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue offers indoor accommodations for both the ceremony and the reception. However, exterior glass walls may be opened up during these events, so please be prepared for a covered indoor/outdoor event, dependent on weather.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Phones and cameras will not be allowed during the ceremony. While you are welcome to take photos as you please during the reception and celebration afterwards (we'll have a QR code for you to upload your shots!), we are asking that all cell phones are completely turned off and that no cameras are used during the ceremony.

Question

Is the reception at the same location as the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Both the reception and the ceremony will take place at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn.

Question

What are the effects of high altitude on my body?

Answer

Estes park is located at 7,500 feet above sea level. Please be aware of this and be responsible as there is less oxygen in the air, and alcohol has a perceived heightened effect at this altitude. You may need to take more dance breaks and drink more water than normal during the reception. A general rule of thumb is that 1 beer at this elevation = 1 1/2 - 2 beers at sea level. Please celebrate responsibly.

Question

What is the weather like in Estes Park this time of year?

Answer

Typical highs are in the mid 40s with lows around 20. We could see heavy snowfall or have crystal clear and sunny skies! It's best to bring layers and be prepared for both the cold and snow.

Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please refer to the schedule for a more detailed timeline. Please do not arrive before the earliest scheduled time listed as preparations may still be in process.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The venue is multi-level with ramps and elevators to access all areas of the space.

Question

Will my dietary restrictions be accomodated?

Answer

Yes! We will have food options available for all guests. Please make note on your RSVP and we will be able to accommodate your dietary needs accordingly.

Question

Do I need to eat before the ceremony?

Answer

While we will be serving dinner and desert during the reception, and hour devours after the ceremony, it may be a good idea to eat before the reception to tide you over.

Question

Will beverages be Provided?

Answer

We will have water, hot chocolate, and coffee available for free along with a cash bar. Remember, we will be at 7,500 ft, so please celebrate responsibly!
