The beginning of this love story started on a beautiful Friday night in Miami. Winnie was traveling from Brooklyn, New York. William was visiting from Raleigh, North Carolina. Winnie and her girls were waiting for a friend to give them a ride back to their hotel. William was staying with a group of friends, including their mutual friend. Winnie was talking as she entered the room. William heard a beautiful voice and went towards it. He asked "What's your name?" She said "My name is Winnie." In reply, she asked "What's yours?' He said "William!" She laughed and said that was her brother's name! What are the odds of that! Needless to say that he made quite the impression. As days and months went by after arriving to their respective homes, they developed a relationship filled with love and laughter.

June 26, 2020 While Winnie was visiting William, he suggested they take pictures with their friend that was a photographer. They decided the roof of a restaurant/hotel would be the perfect backdrop. When she got off the elevator and saw the beautiful skies, she thought this is a perfect time for a photo shoot. As she walked to greet the photographer, Winnie was surprised to see a large display of pictures of her and William, along with her favorite flowers. All of a sudden, she was surrounded by his family and friends. He dropped down on one knee and asked her to be his wife! She said "Yes!" While taking in all the joy and excitement, she couldn't help to think about how much she would of loved her family to be present in this moment. Unbeknownst to Winnie, all of their family and friends watched the entire proposal on zoom. She felt so blessed to be surrounded by so much love and have a partner that put so much effort into making this a memorable and special moment. William and Winnie are looking forward to creating more special memories.
