The Wedding Website of Hannah Wade and John Winkler
Our ceremony will be held at Vesica, a cenote sanctuary in the heart of the Mayan jungle in Tulum, Mexico. Vesica is a unique destination for creative authenticity and enriching sensory experiences in harmony with the regional landscape and nature. We have included a few recommendations to consider when booking your stay in Tulum. Tulum is full of magical hotels, Airbnbs, and resorts to choose from. Feel free to book wherever you like! If you plan on arriving early, extending your stay, or are looking to experience the allure of Tulum, don't forget to check out the "Things To Do" section of our website.

Soliman Bay Villas, Hotels, and Airbnb

Soliman Bay is a beautiful beachfront area just North of Tulum's epicenter that encompasses the intimate and private vibe we love so much about this Caribbean paradise. We booked a villa in Soliman Bay from Thursday, November 21st through Monday, November 25th for ourselves and our wedding party. We will have a welcome party at our villa on Saturday afternoon for all guests who wish to attend. If you book your stay at one of the Soliman Bay hotels or villas, you will be within walking distance of our villa. They have everything from private eco-lodges to luxury hotels in this area, so there is something for everyone! There will also be shuttle services arranged for transportation the day of the wedding from Soliman Bay to our wedding venue, and back to Soliman Bay at the end of the night.

Travel Note

Tulum International Airport is now open!

You can now fly directly into Tulum from many major cities across the US. Use the airport code (TQO) when you're booking flights. We recommend pre-booking a shuttle from the airport to your hotel or renting a car for transportation throughout the city vs. taking taxi cabs. PS- Uber is not a thing in Tulum.

Travel Note

Cancun International Airport

Another option is to fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN). Cancun is an hour and a half drive from Tulum, but it's a straight shot down the coastal highway - a beautiful scenic drive! You can pre-book a shuttle or rent a car, either of those options would be more cost-effective than taxi transport.
