We met the first night of college move in day and happened to be in the same dorm building. Brian actually knew my roommate first and told her she could bring me to his dorm to hang out. I walked into Brian's dorm and immediately was like "Damn he is pretty cute" but I was not going to be making any moves any time soon. Brian, our roommates and I hung out most of that night which made our group inseparable. We went on hikes, ate dinner together, and hung out any time we had a chance. I although started to have stronger feelings towards Brian and even said "it would be crazy if Brian and I dated one day". I had to try to manifest it. Well, Brian and I then went to a RA event in our dorm which was called Pancakes and Sex. Crazy, right? We just were so curious on what that even meant. It lasted up to 10 minutes and Brian got half cooked pancakes before we were over it. This ended up being the first time we ended up hanging out without our roommates. So you can assume there was a lot of awkwardness to it. However, we got Brian better food and spent the entire night watching old childhood movies and talking about nostalgic things to us. We spent almost the entire night together and called it good around 3am. I remember walking back up to my dorm and feeling so happy. After that night, Brian and I started to hang out more separately. Days turned to weeks then to a month when Brian then asked me to be his girlfriend. And here we are almost 6 years later all because of the long first day of college.
