Nick's 1L spring break brought him home to Georgia to visit his sister, Melissa, and brother-in-law, Chris. Little did anyone know that that Tuesday evening, at a small bar in downtown Gainesville, Nick would meet Audrey and their lives would change forever. On their second date the very next day, Audrey bought a plane ticket to fly to Saint Louis and visit Nick after his finals for that semester. Nick drove home, and only two days later asked what Audrey's plans were the following weekend; they decided to book a second trip since neither could imagine going six weeks before seeing the other again. So, Audrey flew. She flew in April, in May, in June, in July, in August, and even in September. Nick and Audrey saw each other in Saint Louis, Gainesville, Atlanta, Tampa, and Celina, and finally, after 7 months of dating long distance, Audrey (and Harlee) made the move to Saint Louis. A new job, apartment, and host of adventures awaited. Once reunited in the mid-west, Audrey and Nick continued to grow together. They went to the Arnold Strongman Classic (twice!), spent a summer in Chicago, floated down the Merrimack (twice, again!), competed in strongman competitions (twice, again, again!), spent countless evenings in their Soulard haunts and made countless friends. Then, while playing charades in an AirBnB on Lake of the Ozarks, with a special assist from Kandace, Nick asked Audrey to marry him. As Timber by Pitbull and Ke$ha played in the background, Nick and Audrey popped champagne and the whole Ozarks crew went out to celebrate. The following months were a whirlwind of graduating law school, studying for and passing the Illinois bar, moving to Chicago, starting a career, and on top of it all, wedding planning. Audrey always knew it was Nick for her. After their first date, on the drive home, Audrey called Kaley to tell her about this amazing man she just met and how she thinks he's The One. Nick was committed from that same day, telling George and Rob, "I'm in love, boys!", after returning from his fateful spring break. Now, just shy of three and a half years after their first date, Audrey and Nick will start their happily-ever-after, with all their friends and loved ones there to witness and celebrate. We can't wait.
