Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or out?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside. If there is bad weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place inside. The reception will be held inside.

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is cocktail, a balance between formal and casual, which typically consists of women wearing cocktail dresses and men wearing a suit and tie. But please wear anything you feel comfortable and can dance in! Where should I stay?

Answer

Please visit the 'Where to Stay' section on the website for more information. We encourage guests to stay at the Wylder Hotel, but there are other nearby options in Tilghman Island, St. Michael's, and Easton. We have reserved a block of rooms at the St. Michael's Inn.

What should I do on Saturday before the ceremony?

Answer

There is plenty to do at the Wylder Hotel! Take a dip in the heated salt water pool, reserve a time in the wood-fired sauna, or take a rest in a hammock. If you're up for more adventure, take out a paddleboard, kayak, or canoe, play some lawn games, or explore Tilghman Island on a beach cruiser. You can even reserve a charter fishing or hunting trip - if you're back in time for the ceremony! ;) There are also fun places to visit in St. Michael's. Please see the 'Things to do' page for more information.

Will transportation be provided to/from other hotels?

Answer

There will be no transportation to and from the Wylder Hotel for guests staying at nearby hotels so please plan accordingly!

Where should I eat dinner on Friday night?

Answer

If you are arriving Friday night, you can order dinner at the Wylder Hotel restaurant. There are also lots of good dinner options in St. Michael's which is on the way to the Wylder Hotel. Welcome drinks with a few bites to eat will start at 7pm.

Where can I get breakfast and lunch on Saturday?

Answer

The Wylder provides a continental breakfast that guests can purchase every morning, as well as a limited lunch menu from 12-2pm.

Where should I eat breakfast on Sunday morning?

Answer

You can order brunch at the Wylder Hotel starting at 11am on Sunday morning. Additionally, there are other dining options in St. Michael's.

Where do I park?

There is ample free parking at the Wylder Hotel.

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

While the Wylder Hotel is dog-friendly, we kindly request no dogs during our wedding weekend.
