Our story doesn’t have a clear beginning because, for as long as we can remember, we have been a part of each other’s lives. Meeting as five-year-old children playing in a friend's basement, we were entirely unaware that we had already found the person we would one day marry. In our senior year, that lifelong friendship quietly transformed into a relationship. Since those early days, our journey has taken us through different cities and seasons of life, eventually leading us to building a life together in Milwaukee. It was during a surprise trip to the shores of Door County last summer that Ryan asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. We have always found our greatest joy in exploring together, and we can think of no greater adventure than inviting those we love most to join us in Lisbon, a city that has captured our hearts and where we cannot wait to begin our life as husband and wife.
